We just a mission fair at church, and one booth was for a gaming ministry started by one of our technology staff. He had a game that looked promising for Christmas with the grandkids that merges stacking with video:
Beasts of Balance

In follow up, we have been playing Beasts of Balance the last few days with the grandkids, and is lots of fun as kids of all ages can play. It is basically a balancing game with varied blocks that you stack and a tablet, phone or iPad interfaces via Bluetooth to make animals and give points.
