Primates LIVED and STILL live in trees.
Some hominids may have spent some time in trees. I do not know if an Orang would be considered a “hominid”.

I do question if monkeys of any kind are in “our family tree”? since I have never seen a monkey -man and the fact that DNA would have to change A LOT in order for it to be able to be. scientist have yet to prove it does{thanks to Mr. Stephen C Meyer}
One of the problems is with scientist that the are so eager to accept evolution as true and they are not eager to accept the fact that DNA would need to change a lot for a man to come from any thing other than a man.why?
Do you have a biblical theory as to why God would create Chimpanzees and Humans, in the same week, where they BOTH had defective genes for the making of Vitamin C?
While OTHER mammals, also made in the same week, have fully functioning vitamin C genes?

However being i have never seen with my eyes a monkey-man and when i go to the zoo the monkeys are in cages and man is the ones watching them from the outside of the cages. that being the case there is something to that very fact that evolutionist scientist are not telling us as why,or how it happened they just say we just say we diverged from them millions of years ago does not account for the differences to me.Maybe some people can “shape shift” in their mind how but until DNA shows me how i do not accept it!{thank you {Stephen C Meyer} people need to question evolution in this way and not just accept hook, line and sinker what they say! I think that because people WANT to accept it they will not question it at all.They surly should they then may figure out that apes are just animals and NOT as human like as they think!
If the differences between humans and apes are so obvious, then what do you think about the Homo Naledi fossil find ? Three different young-earth ministries have a completely different judgment of them:
- Answers in Genesis thinks they are fully ape.
- Institute for Creation Research thinks they are a mixture of human and ape bones.
- Creation Ministries International thinks they are fully human.

i went to the Naldi page and looked care fully at the partial skull if you take the “forehead bone” off that does NOT seem to match the rest of the skull and move the jaw back about an inch then you just about have a modern looking human would look like. I have looked very carefully at the bones and structure that they show. that they would have bones out of place intentionally does not surprise me being what they are attempting to show. that we would always accept that they are honest in their representing of bones should also bring us into question. look carefully at the fore head bone and where the jaw is and "mentally"move the jaw back about an Inch and remove that fore head bone that does not match and you will see what i say! easy peasy! I do that all the time i have to because i do not accept that the bones are correct as they are. then tell me what you see?
When reconstructing skeletal remains, you don’t get to just move the bones wherever you want.

People called believing in Jesus Christ foolish, and Paul called himself a fool for God.
You call Bio Logos foolish for accepting evolution and say that atheists are laughing at us. Who cares?
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Light, not humans, not Pharisees, not atheists.
Christianity was rejected by both the Jews and the Greeks, but God’s WORD, Jesus Christ, the Logos, is true and that is all that matters.

when Paul said he was a fool for God he meant that people saw the cross and it’s preaching as foolishness not that he was a fool! When one believes in Christ he is NEVER a fool,the fools are the ones that reject salvation through faith in the cross of Christ!

The evolutionist evidently though that they could just add them any where they wanted. the way i start to look for violations in truth is first come from in a 'it is not real" perspective then i ask my self why i do not think so. and if you look at the front piece you will see that the while it appears to match on the crack, the surface is not like the rest of the skull behind it. it is sort of like looking at a grain of a brisket it should all go the same direction and be the same color if it is that same bone and the surface does not do that so if that piece does not go there then you move the jaw back to fit in the groove that looks like an arch and if fits in there then that’s where the jaw was originally. I know evolutionist will buy it hook line and sinker with no questions asked be cause the SCIENTIST know BEST. But I go by my sight and think the evolutionist are attempting to fool me and i must find out how. and it works very well. do you not think evolutionist would lie? look at Nebraska man and the Pilt down man on {Wikipedia}

For the record, Martin, leading young-earth apologetics ministries did not manage to interpret these bones in a consistent way. So it’s not just a trick of rearranging the bones. If that would be the solution, it would be easy for AiG, ICR and CMI to reach a consensus.
Also, it’s not really fair to doubt the honesty of researchers whom you don’t know personally, just because they find something you don’t like. There are whole teams of archaeologists working on the analyses of these bones. If there would be the slightest hint of fraud, all of their careers and lives would basically collapse. Researchers from all over the world are keeping track of these findings with a very critical eye.

Really I do not care who calls me a fool for Christ. However, by your definition neither of us is a Fool because we believe in Jesus. But you are a fool if you reject the truth of evolution which is God’s way of creating human life.
I believe that man is just as he was on day one of creation. for my salvation it does not require me to believe that man came from an "apelike’ creature in the past,if that was so God would have sent Jesus looking like an ape like creature. i am sorry you must accept the worldly dehumanizing view of Darwinism. How ever since I have never seen any type of in between i cannot accept that idea i feel to accept the worlds view I would be telling God that Adam and Eve were less than human at some point in time in history. and since God made man in his image I refuse to see God as some “monkey man in the sky” because that’s what it would have to be for man to have been less in the beginning than now. you may be held accountable to God for dehumanizing man from day one. it is much easier for me to believe that God created man as he is now than to believe that God made man an “ape like” creature. I have faith in God for that I am very sorry you doubt God in that way however and believe mans evolution view over God’s plain word.
