Our church had their annual retreat at an Episcopal retreat center in New Hampshire over the weekend.

I am envious.
I went on a Intervarsity Christian Fellowship retreat at a camp on a lake once, and a couple of mornings some of us went for a swim in the mist. The group was smaller the second time because the mist was thick enough it wasn’t hard to get mixed up direction-wise.

Does this mean that the thickness of the mist put off people from attempting a swim on the second morning, or that some of the group on the first morning got so lost that they never found their way back to camp (or perished in the mist, I suppose) and were therefore unavailable for the second swim?

Sounds like a a little misty-dipping going on.

Some got so lost a canoe was taken out to find them. They didn’t want a repeat.
