I didn’t want to ask at first, but right away I wondered, where was the light curtain?
Closest I even came to being squished was when a chain on a hoist broke and dropped a load of lumber into a pit I was in just moments before.

There was none. It’s a single person press 99.99% of the time. They’ve not had issues for decades with the machine. I was working with a 19 year old who came
In for the first time at 3am shift instead of 5am shift. He was yawning and looking tired. Could not figure out how to fix the the issue. So he moved and I got in front of him and was explaining how to fix it and was moving the part to the correct position and he though I said push the buttons and so he leaned over me and reached up above and pressed the buttons. The machine die too weighed 1800lbs or so and moves 6 feet down and up in less than a second to bend 1/4 inch steel. So fingers stood no chance. It crushed then into goo basically.
Nice photos of the snails. Possibly something in the Ventridens line.
