I’m not sure what these are. I thought maybe they are a purple loosestrife or hoary verbana (notice the white ones in back), but the foliage seems wrong.
I like them because the larger blossoms start at the tip and then ‘burn down’ like a holiday sparkler. 
I celebrate them.
