Yes, thank you. I agree. It’s sometimes hard because it seems like some information is suppressed and I used to think that was a ‘sign’ or something that the government didn’t want the ‘truth’ to get out there. I see now that misinformation has hurt people and communities.
I wonder why so many people find that so tempting to believe. I suppose when fact checking services call out misinformation it can seem as if it is being suppressed. But of course falsehoods should be exposed and dismissed so that the truth can win out.
Wonderful! As another non scientist, we are all lucky to know an organization as well informed and generous about helping the rest of us to sort the wheat from the chaff.
