The 100th Birthday of Rosalind Franklin

Today we celebrate the 100th birthday of Rosalind Franklin, chemist & X-ray crystallographer. Franklin’s work on the X-ray diffraction images of DNA helped lead to the discovery of the structure of DNA, and Nobel Prizes for other scientists, but her efforts were only recognised posthumously.
