Denton’s silence in the book about personal religion is not unusual. I am sure that Francis Collins’s scientific articles on genomics etc. don’t mention God or religion, either.

I think your comparison of Denton’s and Collins’ parallel positions regarding their personal beliefs is quite appropriate.
