Being a Christian, including TE or YEC, doesn’t mean you have to be anti-science. I was not homeschooled nor did I homeschool my children but I have read that home schooled children often perform very well in college/university.

I follow the Proslogian blog and apparently his science course for homeschoolers is well regarded.

My elementary science series and my chemistry course were voted #1 by the readers of Practical Homeschooling magazine. This is the second year in a row for my chemistry course, and the third year in a row for my elementary series. You can learn more about the courses by clicking on the blue ribbon. Jay Wile is a fine person whom I respect for his calling out Apologia for drawing the boundary lines around “Christian” way too tight. His textbooks are YEC which is why they are favorites among homeschoolers. Maybe this is not as big a deal for chemistry.
