That’s not a Bible teaching, it’s an introduced notion arising from the demand that Genesis 1 somehow fit a MSWV. It is thus erroneous on the face of it.
It doesn’t even have the possibility of being accurate since it ignores the nature of the literature involved. As above, it comes from demanding that God had to conform His efforts to a MSWV.
According to Grok the chronology depends on imposing an exterior worldview onto the text and setting aside the actual types of literature involved.
This reminds me: a major reason that the Apocalypse of John was accepted into the canon was because they read the word “soon” and saw what was written there happening around them.

OK I did (again, I have read it several times BTW) and here it is.
So it was written 2,000 years ago and says the things in this Revelation will come to pass “shortly”. Don’t know about you but 2,000 years is a long ways from shortly.
So what was I supposed to discover on yet another reading?
