I am at the ASA meeting near Boston. Anyone else going to be here?

I’m sorry to miss you! For all my recent tour of the Northeast, we got to NYC and Connecticut, but not to the Boston area! I bet it’s beautiful (aside from smoke blowing down into the region on some days… our Long Island hosts were apologetic to us about their air quality, but this Kansas boy who is used to controlled prairie burning every spring didn’t find anything too obnoxious about it, at least not where we were.).
I hope the conference goes well and that you make good connections there!

Sitting at lunch with Ruth Douglas Miller!
Oh! And we just enjoyed her and Keith’s hospitality in Pennsylvania a few days ago! I suppose you made that connection already. Tell her hi again for me (if you’re still at lunch). We’re almost back to Kansas.

Look for Buddy Spaulding. He wanted me to come but the timing was poor. A tall Maine guy who runs the FB page Answers for Answers in Genesis.
Buddy is quite the social butterfly here. We shared a meal and have visited quite a bit. Good guy.
You had some of the best weather this summer!
I was also at the meeting; as was @paleomalacologist.
For a further connection to the discussion forum here, I and another student did a poster based on the same idea as this thread: Similarities Between Poor Quality Scientific Papers and Pseudoscientific Essays .
I think I ran across you briefly, sorry I did not recognize you in the flesh.
